Cards Recruits

December 13, 2011 7:38 pm

Does anybody know what we have on the menu for 2012 recruits? Rozier I know but the rest of the class? I hope we can get a 5 star but that rarely happens. A 4 star would be great also.

Another season in the books.

March 17, 2011 10:47 pm

Today was a very very bad day for Louisville basketball, our big's showed up and played their asses off, but our guards were shook up the whole game,. You replay that game and and tell me that play where Siva went to the ground and got up limping he wasn't fouled, tell my why the committee paired us up with MOREHEAD in the first round, our last three or four games have ran late, into the a.m hours and then we fly to the Mile High City and play in Denver, Colorado, at 1:40 in the afternoon,  a place where only the night before Chris Smith's older brother J.R. went off in the 4th quarter. It just wasn't our day, even worse than losing the game, I was really disappointed to see the way Knowles ended his career, our only senior, a low key kinda quiet streaky shooter that made the city of Louisville proud, and will be missed. I give 100% credit to MOREHEAD, they played TENACIOUS defense, it was really impressive, however I thought our bigs outplayed them inside, we were just ice cold and the referees were really letting them play physical, nto calling fouls when our guards took it to them and they threw their body and arms all over us, our guys got beat down, come on.
On an up note we always have a lot to look forward to, Charlie Strong is the greatest football coach in America and we love him here in Louisville, expect to see him do a lot of good things with our football program.
And next year expect to see Pitino dazzle you, again, and again, and again, and again, and again, we always hae a magical team because of coach P, even on a loss that's all we have to think about to know, win or lose, were always going to be a top program. PlanetRED baby

Cant wait for the Butler game!

October 15, 2010 1:10 am

Not too much longer guys til the big opening game against Butler. It should be a battle! We lost alot of our top guys i.e Samuels, Sosa, and Smith but with Coach P at the realm, Im hoping he can pull magic out the hat. We are very young coming into this season with ALL underclassman on the roster but that just allows room for growth. Bringing in a possible top 2-3 recruiting class next season should push us to an elite team in the "Big Beast" next year but this year us Card fans just need to be patient. Im thinking we will probably start off the season with a few loses like we usually do and by conference time we will catch our stride. But enough of the predictions....GO CARDS!!!!

KFC YUM! Center

April 22, 2010 12:59 am

First off I would just like to say that the new arena looks awesome, during thunder over Louisville it looked cool as hell blanketed in all the smoke sitting right on the second street bridge.

I think the arena authority has handled every aspect of this project great, and now we have the perfect name for it,
The Louisville Arena will be know as the KFC YUM! Center

After all, we specialize in KENTUCKY FRIED CHICKEN! Thats out tradition, we been serving up some Kentucky fried chicken for as long as I can remember. Thats right,

KENTUCKY FRIED CHICKEN!

=)

peace
